ANTE Christmas menu 2019 – Christmas of the New Decade

Celebrate the imminent arrival of the new decade with our four course set menu. Start with house churned red wine butter on soft dinner and multigrain rolls followed by a Skilleted Sea Scallop salad with candied walnuts, baby spinach and rocket tossed in a raspberry dressing.

For the main course, ANTE will serve its signature Olive-Fed Pork Collar Steak. This still-unrivalled degree of marbled meat is complemented with a special cream sauce, made from imported Porcini, or King Bolete mushrooms. For an alternative, ANTE is offering, for the first time, English Hereford Beef Flank steak in this Christmas menu iteration. Beef from these free-ranging Herefordshire cattle exude a distinctive aroma when cooked and its taste is as unique as the breed’s heritage.

Last but not least, the exquisite richness of ANTE’s Chocolate Delice needs to be sampled to be believed. This dessert, served with a summer berry compote, is lovingly made using Valrhona Grand Cru vintage chocolates on crisp hazelnut praline.
